dunno but this is a coastal storm not a true backyard cad storm. It’s simply too cold and dry in n/w SC that’s another close spot where maybe you could squeeze out light snow accums but not a chaseable location in my books.
All are welcome! Come on down. Cheap rates this time of year and you can watch it snow on the beach.

I’m on your side. Just because this storm is different. Not your average winter storm blasting through the Carolina’s. This is shaping up to be a memorable event and I urge everyone to use the WPC. It’s not far off from what I believe. This may be the only time I’m on your side for the next 5+ years cause these type of storms don’t come often.That main thread is kinda hostile for us down south. Yea that’s what I’m thinking too. Just want to avoid being to close to the line plus freezing rain in south GA on already weak pines would ruin a lot of families

We in NW upstate May get 2" Of Dry Powder if we lucky out of this. Then Sweep your Driveway Clear when it's over.

Would have thought that would have been business priority #1 on the way to becoming dominant in the wx mapping field. i would have never launched a site that was not mobile friendly from the getgo.

Let's do a January 2014 replay.
That might whiff some of y'all that are in the apps, but the underestimating of the precip field caused a major bust on the north end of the storm and is why we had "Snowjam" in Atlanta.
There was snow in north Florida with this storm and a decent amount of snow in far North Georgia as well when a dusting at best was expected.

It's sad that those people are gonna have to deal with the temps they're facing alone, But yet People Wishing For Snow on top of that! I just don't get it! People thinks only about themselves and could careless what others are going through
thankfully the new governor filed the extension to house everyone in hotels through September 1st. Hopefully it’s agreed upon

You don't know what those people are feeling. Some of them may want to see snow to lighten their day and take their mind off of the problems they are facing. Seeing a beautiful snowstorm may not be such a bad thing.

Maiden and Asheville are two different worlds. Everybody up here is sick of the cold and snow tbh! It's hindering relief efforts I know I'm a part of it.

Well if bet everything I have most of them don't ever want to see another Storm
No we don't all the cold does is freeze the ground snow keeps it slick we can't repair Bridges. All week my machines have been stuck to the ground I could go on and on. As much as I love snow I never thought I'd say this but we're ready for spring!!!!!

I love snow but people up here are suffering. It's hard to repair Bridges and clean up debris when it's cold and snows on the ground. Some people have to cross rivers to get to their property. Now those rivers are frozen over. I love snow but the people of Western North Carolina need a break.
