I’d hate to lose this one to the north too. I’m in Jones County and we were in the bullseye at this range in December 2017 and watched it go north. I would hate for the Deep South to lose out but if we can keep it the same but get a big precip shield I think that would be good
 
Never thought I would see the day when the Canadian locks into a pattern and just casually drops glaciers on the Southeast for 4 consecutive runs inside of day 7 while the other Ops flop around and finally cave to it at H5. Having said that, this post and my new avatar might not age well, lol.

How close are you to Gray, GA? My grandparents had a cattle farm not far from Gray. I've been down Ga Hwy 18 so many times. I don't think Gray has seen snow since the 80's!
 
I think I need a new account too; I hate this one. Give me some name ideas, so I can delete it and restart a new one.

About 15 minutes north of there up Hwy 11. We had a 1inch snow in January 2018 but the last good one was the January 2014 snow. It’s been a minute around here

I completely feel your pain, we basically are on opposite ends of the "general Macon area." It's been antagonizing to watch places like Natchez, MS, Valdosta, and Savannah get clobbered over the last decade while the systems that historically would affect our region either collapse, the cold air gets held up in the moutains, or every other excuse known in the meteorlogical world. I hope that we both score this upcoming week, Ben Jones at 13 WMAZ is a distant cousin of mine and he finally sounded the alarm tonight on potential snow. We all know how hesitant the Macon media is to even float that word around until it looks as if it's a very strong possibility.

I know 2018 was awful for the both of us. The heaviest snow went right below y’all in the early January storm. It’s felt like we can find every way to lose. If 13 is even mentioning it then they’re feeling pretty good. I’ve watched Ben not even mention snow till 2 days before 😂

Does it make me an old man …. I’m at my 10Yr old Daughters Practice …. There’s a 16U Boys game on the other court, these kids are terrible …. All ISO ball, no ball movement no defense. All these kids like 6”2-6”5 and jacking 3s the entire game I was losing my mind. My old spirit tells my 3yr old son ….”son back in my day we’d have backed him down and shot off glass” …. Like the old heads in here, in my day Jan 88 was flurries the winters were so good lol
