Right here😭, in such disbelief it’s been years. Wishing it was only 2 days out and not 5. I would say it look likely we see some snow, just trying to figure if it’s 1 inch or 12 inches is the question atm to me.
 
Deep down I think we've lost this storm for MBY. CMC ensembles are good to have in our corner so I'm holding out a bit of hope. But that's about it. Op Canadian is just as crazy as the GFS IMO generally. The EPS just dying is such a gut punch. It looks obvious to me right now it's showing a coastal scraper clear as day.

Maybe EPS trends better but that last run wasn't it. It's got to trend a lot diggier out west to make up for the 0z jump east. And I would be shocked if all of a sudden it picked up the SW low.

I don't think the storm is totally lost for us, precip always expands more NW than modeled.

Just wait for the NW trend. Not a meteorologist but been tracking these for quite a while and it always happens, without fail. We are sitting pretty at the moment.

I’m all in. Usually don’t bite for destructive ice but this has the hallmark for a “super storm” in areas I don’t really cover in South Carolina and Georgia. Please take this storm seriously it’s gonna be bad. I know we usually throw out ice maps to the trash but this storm is different the ingredients are actually there that I am checking off. There’s a chance it even reaches areas with palm trees along the south-east coastlines…not sure about north Florida but maybe we will see.
 
I would be stocking up on non perishable foods and checking the generator. I’ll list some cities and more specifics at 0z and tomorrow. This is “your storm” for areas that always complain about being left out.

Yeah to be fair we were supposed to be too far NW last week after being too far south the previous weekend... 🤔
 
I won’t be issuing any snow maps for my backyard or wherever it sets up because this is likely to be a dire situation further south with the ice storm. I hope everyone gets their snow but some areas are gonna be suffering below us. I expect most media to be full alert Monday and screaming. Military and government officials have already been notified in some areas of South Carolina and Georgia.

Seeing that CFS map is gorgeous....Wouldnt it slightly be hilarious if ppl like me , CLT bros and Frosty wished this NW trend into existence so much so that we had mixing issues again while WV/KY/TN/VA score again lmao .....that would literally be the ultimate slap in the mouth. Like it not only phased but became such a jacked up bowling ball it tracked right up I-77 into Cleveland
