Hogtown has added what likely is a pretty hefty amount of rainfall from a severe thunderstorm. As a reminder, they had before today been only a little over an inch from moving into 2nd place of all time wettest summers on record back 100+ years.

It looks like Hogtown @pcbjr got 0.84” today to bring them over an amazing 32”! This makes the 2021 summer the 3rd wettest on record with still another week to go. They only need like 0.40” to go into 2nd, which would leave the incredible 2017 in first followed by 2021.
