ATL also may get lucky if smaller, less intense storms keep instability at bay keeping the stronger storms more to the west.

Noticing some peaks right now- I'm sure there's more accurate representation of the WF position, but my winds have been primarily out of the E even with rising temps. Not really sure if that's good or bad, but perhaps the lack of stronger gradient south prevailing winds could spare Atlanta again:
