FFC isn’t conservative anymore. There’s been a massive culture shift there in the last 2-4 years. Still some conservative “vets” there, but overall definitely different than it once was. Lots more young folks.

Does your model show temperatures as well? Just curious to what your model shows at 18z Friday and 12z Saturday.

Didn’t know chasing virga was considered an actual event. I assumed it was mainly a joke of a thread due to the title of it literally clowning it word for word. I’ll fall on the sword I guess
 
Welp, it’s over! ALL models have shifted East of 18z runs now at 0z. I get analfrontal flurries! I feel yalls pain! ☹️?
No chair pics incoming! I guess I still get -40 windchills and 50 mph winds! Yippee ??

Going to be a lot like 2011-12 it looks like. If you don't get a little winter precip this week you may very well not see anything the rest of the way if you are outside of the mountains or below I-40 in NC. The coldest weather of the season will be this weekend. It's possible the rest of the winter will be a lot like 1989-90 and if it is we will get a lot of rain and even severe weather with not even a remote chance at snow or ice.

I definitely think this will be the coldest weather of the season. Hard to imagine Atlanta having another day this winter with afternoon temps in the teens.
 
As of today, as of this hour, I'm declaring the CMC as the king of all models. That is all!

My long range January operational heat map got deleted. The sad thing for all of us is it already has ensemble support. It’s gonna suck if we waste this pattern and January begins to look bleak.

Ok that’s all the negativity I’m going to spew today. At least I saw some frozen precip fall this morning. No shutout for Jimmy this year ?
 
A cold chilly rain it what sums it up today… it’s crazy how it was just freezing here the other day now the temps stay stuck in the 40s while we have all this moisture moving through and yet the temps don’t want to cooperate lol
