Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

Lmao can it hurry up and drop to 32 already and change to snow.

I had my dad, now drunk come in and ask me so is it snowing yet.

I knew I wasn’t supposed to change over until later (although later should be coming soon), but still.
 
26 with light snow. Beautiful, sticking to everything. No mixing issues. I'd take this over 1" QPF with temperatures above freezing any day
 
Most of you young blokes will not remember this..Twas amazing,,,Atl was 50 in the early AM that day and dropped to 6 by 5pm. I recorded -13 in Dunwoody, GA, plus there was very very sparse snow pack upstream, could have been worse. Wind chills were as low as -50 in ATL before the revised version, which I still have an issue with.

I can’t speak for other Subarus, but the WRX is awesome. Strikes the perfect balance of fun, affordability, and practicality. I love cars like the Miata, but as this is my only car, I need more space than that.
 
I'm going to miss living on Mountain Time. It's really nice having most of the GFS run completed by 9:30! (not to mention the other models)

I hate that so many people use these automated forecast and weather apps now. My friends are always referencing the forecast from their apps, which are typically quite inaccurate and change constantly, and I’m just there shaking my head. Makes the meteorology profession look bad.
 
I am so damn OCD about not stepping in my yard or back deck until the snow is finished because I don’t want to mess up the smoothness of the snow. My wife and friends think I’m crazy, but I lose my ? if someone steps in my damn snow.
