Freddie's have good nights and bad nights. Service variesYou have a daughter that’s grown ? This whole time I thought you were like 28 and turns out your 68? Geez!
Nick, ya lost me on this one. ???
The one on roxboro in Durham is the most consistent we’ve found. The one on the boulevard was wildly inconsistent.Freddie's have good nights and bad nights. Service varies
It's universal time. Doesn't matter what time zone you are in.Also, time for a semi-serious question always wanted to ask..
They run the euro in Europe (I assume), which is at least 5-6 hours ahead of us. And the GFS is run here. So why doesn't the 12z euro come out before the 12z GFS?
I figure it's because everything (even over there) is all coordinated/synchronized to US Eastern Standard time. But that would mean if you're in Europe, the 12z comes out at like 5z your time..
Texas gets wrecked this run lol
One day it’ll be under hour 180!Always hour 300 ?. Still fun.

A great poster also once said these are intermediate cool shots !A great poster once said, the best storms sneak up with 2-3 days notice! So we toss these shenanigans! Jimmy, take your pants back
A Great poster once said winter was Canceled, or wait was it a great poster?A great poster also once said these are intermediate cool shots !
Can’t wait to wake up and see Packgrad95, BloganElliot, and Rain_Cold saying ensembles don’t support the op. And the cold is never comingOf course the GFS is interesting at almost 300 hours ???
Nah, you good! Models underestimate the strength of the wedge! Wait on CMC, it’s best with wedges! Plus, me so high will form and feed into the wedge! It’s a good look!@Tarheel1 is this a strong wedge? A hot fart from somebody up in Roanoke and it would retreat all the way back to Pennsylvania. View attachment 102395
Then someone explain why my pants are still sopping with moisture and other thingsWhen do these setups ever work out? @Tarheel1Miller B’s suck. Would rather take my chances with a moisture starved dry clipper.View attachment 102391

It’s ok, that’s the famous Rain_Cold GLL, but no worries, it’s gonna transfer it’s energy to the low south of Brownsville, then N FLCJ better get rested up. It’s gonna be a long week tracking this low pressure system centered up in Lake MichiganView attachment 102397

It ended as freezing drizzle in Gastonia, on top of 14-16” of pure powder and temps in the teens! Gosh what a great storm! The day befor it arrived, highs were in the 20s, I believe! That one actually brought some ZR down to as far south as SAV, which is consistent with this map.
I remember this storm like it was yesterday. It definitely makes my top 5. IMO, we haven’t seen a storm as impactful with as large of a coverage area since then.On this date 34 years ago...a boardwide classic. ahhh memories, what an amazing storm....

Will be praying for you dude. Hope it goes well...glad you caught it. Let us know how it goes.I learned something tonight.... Not every day that I can say I learned something brand new... Guys pay attention to your appendix. I had pain for 2 days and I thought it was just intestinal pain from some bug. Heck I even worked out hard yesterday and about passed out in the sauna.... Tonight the pain was so unbearable I finally went to the emergency room they said it was on the verge of busting. All that said just keep look over yourself when things like this happen... This was not on my radar and it could have easily been worse because I never go to the hospital because I thought it was a bug. Surgery in the morning hope I'll be back home to harass @Shaggy on the political thread along with @Broken024
