Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

So we still rooting for everything to be suppressed?? To be honest kinda tired of whiffing wide right on every viable threat. I don’t want to wake up the SER monster though.

It’s better then the it never snows and it’ll be a cold rain by 12z. I personally like seeing temps and snow pictures from all over the forum plus it’s usually only posted in the morning.
 
Something too take a note of. The swath of snow totals may take a jog southeast. With many low pressure systems in the vicinity I'm showing, tend to make a jog closer to the coast, for some reason the gulf will pull them closer as time moves forward. Not sure if the trend is doing that now, but it's very much possible. They usually like to end up south of Montgomery/Selma line. It's usually Northwest of limestone county Alabama or south of the Montgomery line. almost always never in-between from my memory..Screenshot_20220130-121844-097.png

Definetly trending southward! , Tennessee might get them a decent snow storm. Very intriguing. The NAM shows the energy being slower at digging south than the globals
 
Lmao at the storm thread . One poster says it’s being held back to the NW , immediate next post “ it’s coming south !”. Lmao

Very very much so. A bunch of assholes and super ugly grown people . Imagine being a 45 year old who cries like a little ----- when it doesn’t snow . There’s a few ok guys in that sea of ---- but most of them are total garbage .
 
So I may snow chase to Oklahoma for the next winter storm out in the Midwest @Brent do y’all have some good hotel places I can go in case y’all do get a winter storm?
 
There’s actually a good bit of snow wennies back in Montana that’s having a complete meltdown about not having no good snowstorms this year and having to turn on the tv or hear about places in the south and east coast having more snow then them

bored on this sunday, here's some fun facts
its been almost 3 years since the last MDT in central NC (4/19/19)
its been almost 13(!) years since a MDT in upstate SC (6/18/09)
upstate SC has seen 3 high risks ever (11/15/89, 3/29/91, 3/27/94)

I just haven't gotten around to updating my status here. Tropical weather is more of my area of expertise, but I have always loved snow and enjoy posting here during the winter.
