I think I may have jinxed us by changing my username. Oops.
It's a bad hobby to have in the SE because the majority of storm threats end in failure. It's probably a very fun hobby up north.Isn’t it great to have a hobby where we have no control over the result? So silly, and yet here we are.
What the hellWe used to reel these things in more on the old board when coreytucker would tell us stories about his wild creatures activities and killing wasps.
Nicky B is that you?As quickly as this went downhill, it can come back uphill just as quick. At least wait till op runs come out before discrediting the potentional of this storm. Precipitation shield will shift some west. East of raleigh and north of greenville, nc will still see the biggest impacts in my opinion.
What model is this based off of? ?

That has to be the longest "storm" thread I have ever seen.
Holly Springs especially
I think its just the beginning of the west trend with more snow. I doubt we get back to a big storm but alot better than the nam is now showing. It's ok boys...THE ICON SAVED US...we good now...
Who in the world is showing that on TV or their website?
Except the 18z ICON.I hate everything...?
Let’s be honest, I would be doing the same. Just wait til the HRRR comes into play to raise hopes and dash them all over again. It’s a cruel game we play. Yet here we are every potential storm.I see our NC friends have reached the stage of hugging the ICON.
Never allow your friends to reach that stage
I guessThe ICON is a legitimate model, not like we’re hugging the NAVGEM or JMA here, haha.
Im not saying it's right but it's more consistant than that joke from Europe. The ICON is a legitimate model, not like we’re hugging the NAVGEM or JMA here, haha.
The RGEM still looks okay!I guess
The RGEM still looks okay!
Yes, aside from the NAM it looks decent for a moderate event to me. Yes, I’m a modernweenie. Not feeling confident about a 6-12” big dog at this point, but there’s a reason those are rare. 2-4”/3-6” seems very possible.Lets take roll....EPS/GEFS/ICON/RGEM all look solid. If we get the patented slight shift NW tonight/tomorrow we will be in business. ?
