Can’t it just be consistently wrong?? Like Stephen86if the gfs is right here, temp wise etc. i will not even bother looking at another model again in the future. it has legit stuck to its guns, even against its own ensemble.

Cmc is just now starting on ttNo GEFS, Canadian, or UKmet news yet? ??
So the wedge is a punk nowThe consistent GFS model has KATL not getting below freezing until Monday morning well after the precipitation. There will be no snow accumulation with a weak backside band with temps above freezing. Dewpoints also never get below the mid 30s until early Monday.
It’s North, but slower, more moisture, warmer 850s, better transfer, warmer 850s, but higher snow totals, more ice, less ice, AL/MS are out, ATL rains, game overCmc is just now starting on tt
I am banking on the track of the GFS track is correct, but temps are torched.I think it is safe to say the GFS is hot garbage at CAD events and thus should be taken with a grain of salt in these situations. This is nothing new.
Would I be saying that if the GFS was dropping 24” IMBY? Probably not, but still. ?

Have fun at workIt’s amazing how this storm was looking great 2 days ago. Now at best I’ll get a few sleet pellets and a good chilly rain. Definitely be at work Monday.

just days ago the comments were all:
"its finally nice to track a storm where cold air is no issue"
"this is a for sure thing, it's only 6 days out and so well modeled and agreed upon"

It's amazing how ATL Mets are really hyping this storm up but when you look at the models...I am not like what winter storm. ??

Cobb will 100% be under a WSW by tomorrowWhich is why FFC has no watches anywhere near here, and likely won't have to.
One of our fine young Triangle posters did just this. Also mentioned no BL issues, and not worrying about ground temps. I remember him and won't soon forget! As soon as we get out of storm mode and this event ends in warm rain, I'll find and quote his post. Tempted the snow gods/mother nature with overconfidence. Thus, we were judged unworthy of such rewards, and they will be given to others deemed more worthy.just days ago the comments were all:

There must always be a scapegoat. Get your pitchforks ready gentleman. ?
I'm not at all being sarcastic when I ask this, but why do you think so? I could see a last minute advisory come out Sunday morning for snow showers and a possibly momentary dusting on someone's deck, but thats it.Cobb will 100% be under a WSW by tomorrow
Not you. You other one.howdy
I think I did say something weenie ish a day or so ago to be fairNot you. You other one.![]()
Nada! Lol It will remain that way for the foreseeable future too. Afterall, we here in Columbia live in the "armpit of Hell". Don't cha know? LolHow much snow at Williams Brice stadium?
Almost every model has north cobb getting 2+ inches which is WSW criteriaI'm not at all being sarcastic when I ask this, but why do you think so? I could see a last minute advisory come out Sunday morning for snow showers and a possibly momentary dusting on someone's deck, but thats it.
I saw snow once there while I was in school. I think it was 09’. Stayed up all night and it snowed for like 15 minutes..Nada! Lol It will remain that way for the foreseeable future too. Afterall, we here in Columbia live in the "armpit of Hell". Don't cha know? Lol
