Yea I have front wheel drive. Figured I'll stay somewhere close to I 40.I do it at times, front wheel drive can get you almost anywhere. I was driving a Taurus up in MD on week and we got 5' total. Got around just fine.
Exit 127 rest area?Yea I have front wheel drive. Figured I'll stay somewhere close to I 40.
To get washed out an hour later. Urgh, this stormY’all already know HRRR is gonna have some front end crushage
Is that where the hookers are?Exit 127 rest area?
We need Roxboro in their own thread. It’s a whole different world up there in the snowy north.I get where he is coming from, many of us (I'm just as guilty) make post that are more specific for our own surrounding area. I'll say this sucks while someone in N. Bama will say I love this look, key is knowing where members are located and becoming familiar with them. But I also realize with nearly 500 new members, most are probably not familiar with each, it's important members put their location for that reason. Breaking into sub threads by states or NWS office would be a nightmare I think
Or anybody moving to Iowa and only having front wheel driveAnyone going to the mountains without 4wd is in for a rude awakening
I guess that’s what happens when the surface low plows up through Burlington. I still find it ridiculous and hard to believe that will happen, but what do I know…Is this oof worthy?

I think so, I think Friday afternoon / Evening. That’s like 36hrs out so you would think they would put them in place. If they lean towards the CMC and E ( which they do) this one might be a big hit for Atlanta - north.Do we think we will probably start getting winter storm watches issued in the next 24 hours? I would assume we will start seeing them for N GA by tomorrow morning or afternoon at the latest given we would be within about 48 hours of the event kicking off by then.
Maybe the rates will overcome all? ?I guess that’s what happens when the surface low plows up through Burlington. I still find it ridiculous and hard to believe that will happen, but what do I know…
I agree with Heelyes, low4 makes a huge difference.Or anybody moving to Iowa and only having front wheel drive
Hell in low4 you don’t even need to hit the gas.I agree with Heelyes, low4 makes a huge difference.
Lol, WRAL called it before the Euro.I guess that’s what happens when the surface low plows up through Burlington. I still find it ridiculous and hard to believe that will happen, but what do I know…

I always try to help pull people out when stuck, but I tend to look the other way when I see young guys stuck with 2wd. It's a life leason they need.Hell in low4 you don’t even need to hit the gas.

Anybody have some tire chains and kitty litter I can borrow? ?View attachment 105062
I might need a helicopter to find you. I’m bringing my drone so maybe I can scout you out with that.Jimmy, Hendersonville appears to be just a county to our east. Maybe you can come save me. My dad would love to talk politics lol
Meh. Sounds boring. I'm staying here to watch my dewpoint go from 14 to 40 within 24 hours.Mildly tempted to head to my parents’ place in High Point/Greensboro for this one if the forecast looks a lot better there than here. But we’ll see. I’ve got something to do Saturday night, but I could drive over there at like 11pm or something haha.
Although I wasn’t thinking about that my parents think they may have covid now, so maybe not. ?
Tell you what, these inland trends are NOT what we want to see. That is going to pull in the warm air give all our snow to TN. That needs to stop right now; TN has already been to the party this year, it's OUR turn! ?Euro says it’s a Alabama/Tennessee storm now. What’s next? ?
This guy knows how to have a good timeMeh. Sounds boring. I'm staying here to watch my dewpoint go from 14 to 40 within 24 hours.
