That's actually a different wave as the wave forming this on the 0Z GFS doesn't even come off Africa until a week from now. The wave that the EPS and we have been focusing on is coming off right about now.

Oh okay, that makes sense. Early on in the storm it’s hard to tell where the energy get consolidated, for me.
 
Here we go again

A westward moving tropical wave is expected to move off of the west
coast of Africa tonight. Although environmental conditions do not
appear to be conducive for development as the wave crosses the
eastern Atlantic over the next few days, conditions could become
more favorable for slow development of the system as it reaches the
central and western tropical Atlantic early next week.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.

Good for them.....glad to see they decided to start tracking earlier....
