He's an idiotYou and your Terrible takes southeast ridge
I'll start the thread
March 2017 there was light-moderate snow here during the late morning/noon/mid aft, and I got near 3 inches of snow with the extremely brutal March sunUnderrated IMO.
What were your temps ?March 2017 there was light-moderate snow here during the late morning/mid aft, and I got near 3 inches of snow with the extremely brutal March sun
30-32What were your temps ?
There's much more to snow stickage and melt than just SuN aNgLeMarch 2017 there was light-moderate snow here during the late morning/noon/mid aft, and I got near 3 inches of snow with the extremely brutal March sun

I think when there's a snowpack and nights are consistently below freezing that makes it harder for it to melt. There's much more to snow stickage and melt than just SuN aNgLe
I looked it up on wunderground, and Charlotte's snow occurred between 1am and 9am, which would make it much easier for it to stick. Had it occurred between 9am and 5pm it would be a different story.March 2017 there was light-moderate snow here during the late morning/noon/mid aft, and I got near 3 inches of snow with the extremely brutal March sun
I agreeI think when there's a snowpack and nights are consistently below freezing that makes it harder for it to melt.
Ok he said March 2017 so maybe he was thinking March 2018. I do notice the roads look wet. Its a lot harder to get road stickage in mid afternoon in March.
I agree . I also think when you water the plants they grow . If you eat food you satisfy your hunger , and if you run you will get tired . Any more obvious things ?I think when there's a snowpack and nights are consistently below freezing that makes it harder for it to melt.
2 different storms but both had accumulating snow during the day in mid March. The 2017 system was colderOk he said March 2017 so maybe he was thinking March 2018.
Yes.... If we don't do our jobs we get fired.I agree . I also think when you water the plants they grow . If you eat food you satisfy your hunger , and if you run you will get tired . Any more obvious things ?
So that's what I've been doing wrongYes.... If we don't do our jobs we get fired.
Longer days melt my snow more then the sun angleI'm loving these longer days. Sunset in December = 5:19. Now = 6:26.
But it's the sun angle that creates the longer days. So it's the sun angle's fault.Longer days melt my snow more then the sun angle
FixedHow about that 200+ hour analfrontal on the gfs
@SoutheastRidge used to sound like you with the sun angle argumentBut it's the sun angle that creates the longer days. So it's the sun angle's fault.
I had to lookup who the heck MEG was. lolLOL, MEG
getting so snow happy they are putting in forecasts like this...
FRIDAY
A 20 percent chance of showers, freezing rain and snow in the morning. Mostly sunny. Highs around 50.
I personally don’t understand the jealousy . It’s not like Little Rock does that every year , same for San Antonio . Everyone mad San Antonio got snow but fact is they probably haven’t seen that much snow in 30 years . Massively above climo snow is hard because well, it’s massively above climo otherwise climo would be more .Little Rock averages about 3.5" compared to RDU's 6". Little Rock is at 20.3" this winter which is more than twice as much as RDU has had any winter in the last 17 years. Why can't RDU ever just have a year where we massively exceed climo anymore?
I can't believe Del Rio, TX got more snow than Jacksonville, FL this winter. Jacksonville is further north !
RDU shouldn't go 17 years without hitting 10". With a 6" average we should exceed 10" as often as we have less than 2". RDU has had less than 2" 8 times in the last 17 years not including this year.I personally don’t understand the jealousy . It’s not like Little Rock does that every year , same for San Antonio . I’ve had 53” of snow already and 16” on the ground and I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s 2-5” , like it’s the first snow of the year! I don’t know how I’ve had more snow than Bismarck ND, they are bordering Canada! How is that even possible? It’s a winter miracle!?I can't believe Del Rio, TX got more snow than Jacksonville, FL this winter. Jacksonville is further north !
Actually, Little Rock averages closer 6". Back in the 70's and 80's they averaged over 7". Like most everyone else snow averages have been on the decline.Little Rock averages about 3.5" compared to RDU's 6". Little Rock is at 20.3" this winter which is more than twice as much as RDU has had any winter in the last 17 years. Why can't RDU ever just have a year where we massively exceed climo anymore?
