Gotta feel good for them tbh, it’s frustrating here, but this is a generational storm there. We’ll get our due eventually, maybe.....

Sure as hell beats DC getting snow.

Austin is in bad shape still apparently I've seen a couple people there not even excited about this snow the power and water issues is really putting an asterisk by it for so many people

Did everyone survive last night’s icemageddon pants eruption? Are the roads passable? Did the upper branches on your Oak trees survive?

The Triad was killing it when I lived there until 2016, above average from 2009-2016, then I move to FL and not only do they get the first accumulating snowfall IMBY in 23 years, but there’s also two hurricanes that made landfall in the FL panhandle in three years! And though Irma made landfall in S FL, it was also still a tropical storm when it crossed my area. Then I move here and my mojo is gone!! We suck at everything except getting to 100 degrees in October! And constant rain!!

If it can snow in South Texas it definitely can still snow here..it will one day.

Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 70.

Considering that this is 7 days away though, it might be too good to be true. I'll accept clear skies and cool. That should come soon.
 
I’d love to spend a winter or two in a northern snowy climate . I bet I’d last longer than all you self proclaimed winter weenies !

Did a long range ---- reading in the toilet today. Yep 22/23 right now looks insane , 70/30 odds we break single digits , 40/60 odds we hit -2, this part is odd though there are also 50/50 odds we hit 86 at some point that winter . Also seeing signs of a Carolina crusher . Big gradient north of Fuquay though with totals dwindling down to a dusting by wake forest .

It’s just odd and quite morbid to me, people making up these monster things destroying cities as if they actually happened. I guess if you’re into apocalypse movies this is your thing

Dude I’m fantasizing about tornado outbreaks on the daily . Today I fantasized about one cleaning up the coast of all the developments . Giant EF5s all across Brunswick county . I was nicer on Wilmington with only a couple EF2s. Another one of my favorites is a massive outbreak over Raleigh with EF5s destroying all of Cary holly springs Fuquay morrisville and apex . Wake forest I fantasize that the dam on falls lake bursts on the town.
