Unpopular opinion: I'm a fan of cloudy, cool weather and I've been enjoying the past few days. Still kinda jealous at Texas and the Mid-South tho

Straight pounding rain. Had a few rumbles of thunder overhead. PGV will be over 10 inches for the year already after this week for sure.

Meh, basically just flurries or very light snow in all those areas .
So, basically a very warm or very cold pattern. No in-betweens if the GFS is correct. Love this look a lot more than what have been getting most of this winter.

London and Paris have warmer 10 days than much of the south... their late April/early may average are upper 50s and low 60s and that's what their 10 day is. They are perpetually above average, super obnoxious. Paris hasn't had a below-average month in well over 2 years.

I loathe this winter. Please, please stop with this cold cold rain. Congrats the gulf coast, but it needs to end.
Well pretty much every area in North America who can get snow/ice in the first place, has gotten snow/ice this winter, except for the Midlands of SC, eastern SC, central GA ,most of Southern NC. Kind of expected Al would be left out, which they did yesterday, but with them getting a unexpected snowfall this mourning, their winter goes from bad to solid. US Central/eastern SC and Southern NC folks truly do suck weather wise and truly had the worst not only this winter, but the last 7 winters.

So, my inlaws in Wisconsin had their Furnace die Saturday night, but managed to get a new one. They then left yesterday to come to NC for a month to avoid the Cold in Wisconsin....
Jokes on them, Mother Nature about to take away the power at their rental house!

I'm not sure this map is entirely accurate.... It shows like 10" snow depth in parts of Central Mississippi. I just don't believe that. Also it looks like it shows 5" of snow depth in NW AL. Not sure if that's true or not.
