Congratulations to every ------- state in the US beside Georgia, Florida and South Carolina on recording actual snow.

Didn't North GA and Upstate SC received snow this month? Some areas from what I heard got as much as 3-4 inches of snow, which would be more than what a lot of AL has so far?

North North Georgia did. 95% of Georgia didn’t. I don’t count these little snow shower/ sleet events. All I’ve had is almost a dusting so far and that lasted a few hrs.

.3 + 0.3 = 0.6 all winter. Nice to see it fall but the sleet screwed us over last system. Can't even get a full half inch or inch.

I’m under a Winter Storm Watch for the first time since I believe January 2018, when I lived in Florida (we got a dusting of snow plus a glaze of ice, but that’s a Warning in a place that goes decades between accumulating snowfalls). Might’ve honestly went straight to a Warning for that one as I don’t remember if there was a preceding Watch or not, and in that case it’s been since 2015/2015.

Regardless, I think the threat is more for northern Durham County and would be surprised to see more than a glaze on the tree limbs down here in hell, so it’s all pretty meh.

Hmm, gotta admit I hadn’t been paying attention and the model trends today look pretty bad for even MBY. I guess we’ll see....

Not even any decent fantasy land storms on the GooFuS or the CMC. Only saw a few flakes this winter, could barely even call it a 'trace'. Overall F- for this Winter. Lots of cold that just wasn't cold enough resulting in rain. BOO.

Tbf you really live in one of the worst possible places out there . You go more years with no accumulating snow versus any accumulating snow down there I’d wager . Maybe every 3-5 years a nice 2 inch event .

Yeah I know. We scored in 2018. Overall the 2010s were pretty good to us. 20s not starting out so great. Warm nose usually wins around here.

Really wanted some snow this year because me and my wife adopted a senior Husky dog a couple of years ago and I wanted to see how he would react to a decent snow. Given his health he probably won't be around next Winter. So that kinda adds to the suck of this Winter lol.
