#2What’s more painful, a GL cutter with 2 hours of onset ice with a dominant SER ? Or a late bloomer that gives no one anything
Nothing sucks more than looking east at clouds and knowing it ain't happening.

By then Charlotte’s climate will be like that of Waycross’. It’s over! modernweenieY’all heard about that 2031 super nino ?
warm oceans = cool continents !!!
Definitely the latter. With a GL cutter we know we never had a chance, even with the deceptive onset ice. But with a late bloomer, we’ll hope and pray for that last minute NW trend right up until we end up with nothing but crispy cirrus. What’s more painful, a GL cutter with 2 hours of onset ice with a dominant SER ? I see you moved to Troutman. Nice area up there.I'm generally pretty optimistic in the beginning of winter. Less so the last couple of years that have just been so warm. But I'm still feeling pretty good right now. However I reserve my weenie rights to punt this year if in January if I see persistent crud patterns through December. It's my right as a weenie.

BooWell, the GEFS model gods must have heard my complaint, and gave us this member! It's not three feet, but I can live with this.View attachment 55048View attachment 55049
Looks nice, but you know it would shift NW at the last minute and bury DC in two feet while we get a few inches of sleet. modernweenieWell, the GEFS model gods must have heard my complaint, and gave us this member! “If it’s not going to snow, it may as well be sunny and 75” ?It’s currently 21 degrees! I hate wasting good cold air! ?
It is going to be a long cold dry winter for you. Do you know what would be real funny? ...... if this was the year of the 1988 repeat and you missed it. Talk about Karma..... just saying.“If it’s not going to snow, it may as well be sunny and 75” ?
I’ll see plenty of snow! I really wish y’all could pull off another ‘88! This board would crash so hard if that kind of event was imminent! I would love to track it with y’all! It is going to be a long cold dry winter for you. Do you know what would be real funny? ...... if this was the year of the 1988 repeat and you missed it. Chasing is a blast and something I’ll always do, but it sure would be nice to score in the home state here soon. I haven’t seen accumulating snow IMBY since the December 2017 storm. I’ll take just about anything at the homestead this winter!

900 Squat is elite level... used to powerlift, and my best was 585 at 190 pounds. While everyone else chased snow today , I woke up early and drove down to Atlantic beach , got knee deep in the water because it was warmer than the air . Spent an hour out there then hiked around fort Macon state park, the hiked at the Croatoan national forest , then worked out with my buddy in havelock who can squat 900 pounds ! This trip was spontaneous , I wasn’t planning on the beach till I was half way to havelock . Reminds me of the day I got up to go to Lowe’s but then somehow wound up in Virginia Beach instead .
I had palms and water on my mind today! Whole different world down there than it is out in the mountains right now. I was staring at nice green coastal forests with nice oaks and palms .
Fantasy land calling intensifies... This would probably be a blizzard. LolOklahoma calls for me from fantasy land.View attachment 55041View attachment 55040

There must be a big southern slider on an EPS member because it has nothing for most of the SE for the entire run but when it hits hr 288 most of the northern SE sees a sizable jump in the mean. First pic is hr 276 and second pic is hr 360.
