I see some folks saying we still have a shot later this month for snow here. I will believe it when I see the snow falling. It seems every year it gets harder to get snow here no matter how good the pattern is supposed to be. Either the good pattern never materializes or it does and we still don't get anything.

I think how bad the pattern is as modeled is probably being overrated. The bigger issue is it feels like any winter threat is always d8-10 and we slowly trend to meh cold rain as we get closer.

when was the last time we had a -EPO/+PNA coupled ? Most of the time it’s a -EPO/-PNA

I'm going to ride the -NAO off the cliff if I have to. Even as bad as the Pac is if we hold it thru Feb I refuse to believe something decent won't pop east of the mountains. Especially I85 north and west. Not sure about I20 anymore.
