IMO this was our last chance this winter. Maybe March will produce but February looks like absolute garbage

It’s January 22nd. If I gave up on winter this early and the weather god’s obliged, my Snow totals since 2006 would almost be cut in half. I know it’s frustrating but even if we warm up that doesn’t mean a storm can’t time up with a quick cold shot.

I think they will have to force him out. I like the guy. He is pretty good with CAD and severe weather. Not so good with winter weather.

I've been reading on another forum as well. They think our storm threat next week will either trend more south or not move much from where it currently is predicted now. They are saying this storm will favor MA and southeast states.

Yes same for ice. 2” of ice in Wilkes means 0” for Charlotte. You need it to show 2” of ice in Atlanta for Charlotte to see something. I hate being labeled on the 8” line because I never use model output verbatim I shift it 3-6 counties north.
