So my wife and I heard those, and I also assumed it was either someone having fun with Tannerite, or a meth lab went up.
 
Lol, man we are really itching for some snow huh? Thread fired up for next week already? Still don't think we're quite cold enough yet. 20th on seems better.

20th is too far out. Watch that turn into 70's and severe storms. The next week is our best and probably only chance to winter weather and that is NC only. Everyone else get ready for a 2011-2012 repeat.

Why do you say such ridiculous stuff all the time? I mean once and a while just playing around or being frustrated is understandable. But the constant "it's never gonna rain or snow here again" is boneheaded. Your water table is above ground and this was after you said it wasn't going to rain the rest of the year. Sheesh.
 
This is a poop show you just cant get snow here no more im over it winter just go away with your marginal cold
 
Sorry about my posts in the other thread . As for my other posts i was being honest nothung in my 10 day forecast is exciting and these past few winters have stunk we just hardly get snow much anymore. Hope yall get some snow and enjoy it . I still love this site
 
It’s weird that these pessimists all came out of the woodwork right now. Would have thought when the pattern was opposite .

I hope they are right though lol. I have nothing to hope for except the fact we are overdue a warm week, and maybe the cold later in the month just doesn’t end up our way . Either way imma savor the epic torch that comes when ever it does.

Thats just it id rather torch then cold rain . I didnt come out then because i had no expectations for this winter comsindering the strong la nina but these " specialists " just sucked me back in talking about we will get snow n cold i have yet to see much of either
 
Theory : given the notoriety of the inconsistencies of the Gfs ... and the inconsistencies of dew point Dan.... I think dewpoint dan is an experimental real futuristic Gfs model . Yep, the future Gfs will be an artificially intelligent human look alike .
 
I'm positively 100% confused on why people are freaking out that we suck. Lol, we don't suck, far from it, think about the last two years, and where we were at this point. This look at the end of the GFS usually gives us a big dog by the way.

We haven't had a "good" pattern yet. We've legitimately squeezed just about the maximum out of fairly marginal overall pattern across the hemisphere.

I hope we score and youre right we prob should but doesnt mean we will . Im speaking for myself but i have ran out of patience waiting on better patterns and modeled snow these past few years not to mention covid

Yeah, that sense of "what if" still scares me, but pattern recognition is the most important part. Believe me, if there's cold, any precip will give you snow.
