Man this has serious December 2018 vibes for NC. Orientation of the R/S line and marginal temps are eerily similar
That storm was agonizing. One of those where you keep watching the line move closer and closer to you and there’s nothing you can do. Worst feeling! I was in chapel hill at the time

I really want to be excited but then I think about how many times the last decade we have been 36/72/96 hours out from a memorable storm only to watch it trend to poop
I'm trying to post something to ease your mind........... I'm failing horribly

It's kind of funny that I can't think of a single poster that lives in GSO, but I can think of several that live in Winston-Salem.
We have a few in Greensboro/High Point and also in Randolph County and Kernersville. Plus, you’re not far away, either!

I should specify it to Guilford county. I guess @WxGSO if I think about it, but he's quiet on here. I live in Alamance.
There’s another dude in Oak Ridge and another in High Point, too. They don’t post much except during storms, though. And I can still give you updates from my parents’ in High Point, haha....too bad I’m not there for this upcoming system. I would consider going there for this storm potentially, but I’ve got some stuff I need to do in Durham this weekend.

There’s been some booms near Wilkes . Wonder what all these booms are about .
Birdman likes to go BOOM BOOM when excited . Coincidence ? I think not!
