No one will let me start a thread ? I will say if I am allowed to start it, I will wait until we are inside 132Jimmy you are starting the next thread! You have brought glory to this thread, and you will bring glory to the southeast!!!
Nope because when you put the thread starter on ignore the thread disappearsNo one will let me start a threadI will say if I am allowed to start it, I will wait until we are inside 132
I wouldn’tNo one will let me start a thread ? I will say if I am allowed to start it, I will wait until we are inside 132
I highly doubt the South will get a major December snowstorm for the third year in a row. The Deep South got theirs in 2017, the Mid South got theirs in 2018. Probably will go without a flake just based on historyThere is always next December
If only it was a weak El Niño...oh wait.If we only had a snowpack to our North and it was January....... oooops
I’ll put my rep on the line. Need it inside 132 before I do it though and I will not promise everyone snow but I will promise a snowstorm east of the mountainsI wouldn’t

Weak Niño SSWE Februarys are fool proof! If we only had a snowpack to our North and it was January....... oooops
A hurricaneBlah blah, we've kept saying that this storm is going to set up the next one. So which storm doesn't set up another one?

It's been stated many times over. A thread is created not because the models may lose it, but because it takes over the January discussion. You can argue we can discuss it for days in that thread, but then it's harder to go back and look at the evolution of the system if it does or does not succeed. It isn't silly, no storm thread should be made for an "event" 7+ days away due to so many variables/uncertainties, and with the chance of it not happening. I know I wouldn't want to start a thread for something that may not happen that's showing on the models 7+ days away. I'm just saying; I'm being realistic here.
7 days might as well be fantasy land. 5 days sounds much more reasonable. It isn't silly, no storm thread should be made for an "event" 7+ days away due to so many variables/uncertainties, and with the chance of it not happening. The bad thing is that a lot of times something even 10 days away takes over the January discussion. Should we also create a thread for something 10+ days away? It's been stated many times over. Then we will be 6 days out then 6 more then 6 more then 6 more then 300The madness is real after these 12Z runs. Good grief people we are 6 days out.
