Misc 2019 Banter & Friendly Conservation

Games went okay. My daughter got a basket, and my son made a three pointer. Just hard to get all the players to actually run what we practice.
 
So, I am trying to remain positive. Keep seeing all the talk about how great the potential is starting next week, the ensembles look good, and storms might not pop up on the ops runs until a few days out. But it really is hard to be patient when there is so much talk about how good the pattern looks for winter storms, and not be worried about storms not showing on the ops and hoping all this potential is not wasted.

I mean it’s not like you didn’t get 10 inches or more early this season. I do understand though as I’d much rather have a backloaded winter then snow in December and not much after.
 
If I was complaining, I would say the ops still are not showing anything here but rain in the 7 day range, and people are looking past 10 days and saying something special is coming. We cant even get a snow storm here inside 7 days yet.

That’s not why it was moved.

It just didn’t add anything to the main forum.
It wasn’t meant to be bad when it was moved.
 
I will say say,the pattern that the 0Z GFS is showing looks good with a strong -NAO,-EPO and -AO.The GFS also gives many areas a snow event. Hopefully models continue to shift towards a better pattern such as this.

Did you even look at the models, read comments tonight? ICON, GFS and CMC showing potential deep south snow next weekend....
