GFS now looks at lot like the Euro AI/Spire... except with more phasing and even better... I think we're finally honing on in on what we're looking for.

GFS shows how volatile this setup is. Gotta hit everything right to make this work but I still believe it’s got the most potential for a Miller A event I’ve seen in at least 15 years.
I will not be able to unsee this, please give us ensemble support. I’m about to break records in the gym after seeing this! 2025 is going to be the best!

There’s been at least on and off ensemble support for several days during the 2nd week of the month. It’s a matter of details which we are blind to for the next several days most likely
You’re in a good spot. Northwest trend is your friend.
You’re in a good spot after the northeast jog.
Wound up system like this you can certainly expect some NW adjustments and some serious warm nose issues, all mute points this far out. At least the pattern that can produce is still there

I still think this checks all the right boxes I look for in a big storm from a large scale perspective. We just have to get the details right or none of that will matter in the end.
Is this what you folks call “pants busting”? As a post earlier said. Expect a NW correction soon. I never seen snow that close to a UL. Western Carolinas and NC Piedmont/Triad areas sitting pretty.
