Very thick glaze right now
Those red lines don’t exactly look to be the way the precipitation is moving to me.
Same in Rutherfordton, but more snow is now mixing inLuckily here at the NC/SC border and around 1200 ft elevation it's been almost majority sleet since the changeover, with a few snowflakes still mixing in here and there. So far not much in the way of freezing rain.
I was hoping that was snowAnother band of light/moderate ZR moving into the North Georgia suburbs View attachment 162631
Weird thing, my temp went from 31 to 33 after the precip stopped.I just did a walk and everything definitely got a thick layer of ice on it here. Impressive storm. I would say totals are:
Snow: 3.5 inches
Sleet: .25 inches
Freezing Rain: .15 inches
Yeah this definitely StinksI didn’t realize how quick the ice built up in a short time. Already a tenth of inch of glaze. Its light returns right now so everything is stinking. The roads have an inch of snow and sleet with a solid layer of ZR caked on top.
Warm nose always sniffing’ aroundPositive tilt trough yet it’s sleeting all the way into Winston Salem. Imagine if we had went -tilt View attachment 162638
