Really, grateful that Cobb EMC actually cut back all the trees in our area over the summer from the power lines. Hopefully, this will help with the trees possibly falling or limbs falling on lines. I like snow and sleet but not ice and already have a glaze on tree limbs.

The sleet is now mixing with snow at my location near Lake Wheeler in Wake County. Very small flakes can be seen dancing in the floodlights. The temperature isn't craashing as fast as I thought it would. It is now 30.3 degrees and some accumuation can be seen on grassy areas. It looks like many of the posters on here I am going to get NAMed.

Typical nuisance storm in NC. We bust low 90% of the time.

With all the reports from the Carolinas, it might have been missed. There is a Winter Storm Warning for Central and North Alabama tonight. It's been misting rain for a couple of hours and it is about to be below freezing.
