Brads latest, says don’t believe the hrrr with the rain depiction. Thinks clt is snow by 1-2p and stays snow (some heavy) thru 6-7p
Brad sounded like he wanted to up snow amounts. I almost wonder if he got pressured from his boss to keep them lower

Yeah its most recent forecast had me at 31 by 10am. Instead it’s 28.6HRRR has been terrible with temps in this one. I think that is a known bias of it, though I could be wrong.
Snowing in Moonville and Simpsonville.Chris Justus believes the GFS/FV3 is going to score a coup here because it’s cold bias is actually helping it
No doubt!Nice to see that virga become and enclosed ring around KGSP
Looks to have backed that down some with the 850 retreating SE850mb warm nose
Evaporative Cooling will handle that. We should be fine. Plenty of dry air to work withFeels like CLT is going to either strike out or hit a home run. I don't like to see our temperature creeping up. Wish we could get an early morning cold-temp start like ATL did.

Yep. I think it was 2015 or 2016. We got blanked south of 85. Think he was forecasting 6 inches. When Brad P was fairly new as the head meteorologist at WCNC he forecasted a big snow and we got nothing. I heard it was a major league big deal at the station. Career-changing. He's since become much more conservative, and it has served him well. This ain't Ohio.
This is a constant in main stream TV media/ Radio (My area of work). On air TV mets are told to address the masses. Not us. You can actually get a sense of their enthusiasm through youtube videos, but that still is an extension of the station and it's conglomerates. We can be weenies.Yep. I think it was 2015 or 2016. Staying just south of CAE.I’m scared to look at correlation coefficient. Somebody tell me how it’s looking. I can’t muster the courage
Still just hammering here . Not a believer the warm nose makes it to the Tennessee bsma line . Cold north wind is battling hard . Still snowing down in Central bama
1.5 inches here just west of you on the mountain. 24.8/24. Flakes have been really small for a while. Need some bigger ones before the sleet arrives for it to really pile up.Checking in with 1" so far and 27/24.
Dude can we legit trend more qpf while simultaneously trending colder right as we are approaching take off? I think .5 as a general average across NC with most if not all as frozen is major, especially considering the antecedent conditions.
It’s fighting hard. Love itFighting the line still, the line may be winning but not sure how long.
it's very light here also.Pretty much 70/30 ZR/sleet now. Not pouring either so ice would accrue nicely. Temp 30
