The Euro nailed this one. The 10-1 ratio output was dead on for my area.

Might be my eyes but it seems like it is more sleet now with some flakes mixed in
HRRR has been terrible with temps in this one. I think that is a known bias of it, though I could be wrong.

Could bring some heavier rates.
Brads latest, says don’t believe the hrrr with the rain depiction. Thinks clt is snow by 1-2p and stays snow (some heavy) thru 6-7p
Its the battle zone right now. Gonna flip to rain eventually.

Dallas Ga at my personal weather station we slowly moved up from 28 to 31 but hopefully should be leveling off on Surface and looks like 850s have reached northern extent of what it will do from WAA and hopefully recede some now. Precip is getting lighter for now but maybe we can hold temps together and get in some heavy bands later... I measured about 3.5 inches of mostly snow and little sleet at house I will take that for any Winter in the south!

Huge flakes just started falling. We're up to 3" about 8 miles NW of Huntsville. Rates up to 1" per hour now, but the temp is slowly rising. It's up to 30 now.

Feels like CLT is going to either strike out or hit a home run. I don't like to see our temperature creeping up. Wish we could get an early morning cold-temp start like ATL did.
Poor brad, I respect him and enjoy his analysis. But he needs to let his inner weenie shine a little more. I personally don't see the problem with the busting on a snow forecast if you're trying to inform the public and keep them safe.
Euro AI has been trending colder at the surface. Has Raleigh at 35 deg at 1pm. Here are the temps for 7PM tonight, then 1AM overnight
