In Pelham near your location and while I’m no snow depth expert, I’d give us a couple of inches at the moment. Pleasantly surprised by this one so far!I already have an inch on the Jefferson/Shelby Co line south of B'ham w large flakes falling.
Hah. I'm at the stage of if I look at one more model run my eyes may pop out of my head.
Goes and checks 18z Euro....

Seems to be half rain at the moment. If South of Atlanta doesn't stay all snow... they're going to wetbulb down to 27'ish in the next few hours... ice storm could be epic, there... like really bad.
I just looked and dang, you're right. FV3 has nailed the transition lines and radar presentation.... we might be cooking boys! The FV3 seems to be performing pretty well so far. Giddy up
Whats it got for Clemson?I just looked and dang, you're right. FV3 has nailed the transition lines and radar presentation.... we might be cooking boys!
Was doing comparison checks against the radar. FV3 looks best right now. Has bumped up qpf overall in the last couple of runs. The FV3 seems to be performing pretty well so far. Giddy up
I woke up at 5am and say "snowing in commerce" and got the coffee brewing. Haha, it's been too long!I can’t go back to sleep with radar blossoming like this smhhhh
3-4 inches of snow, then an inch of sleet, then 1-2 inches of snow on the back end. and a trace a freezing drizzle.Whats it got for Clemson?
