Ridge on the west coast is a bit better oriented North/South compared to 6z
This isn't getting squashed this time. Staying due east and may phase?
Love this, still think the GFS is trash.
Man that area of the country is beautiful to me. Got stationed in 29 Palms and drove 40 across the country. NM, Flagstaff AZ both really nice! Seeing snow in Joshua Tree and 29 was an experience!Yeah this isn’t the kind of pattern where we get big snows here in NM. The pacific pattern is fine but we usually need a SE ridge in place to keep the upper low locked in.
Generously a flurry blizzard for me
i wish i had your confidence, i think it's unlikely and requires a lot of meteorological gymnastics but i think it's possible with how blocky the pattern isI'm quite content with the way the models are behaving. It's expected. The cutoff low ain't happening. Trough east of HI .. nothing is retrograding back to the baja.
I think we need a board therapist sometimes however. lol
Yeah at H5 that was a woof to me.GFS is waking up.. ALEET ALEET ! WOOF
Haven't seen a look this pretty at 174hr in so long, usually is 274 and goes away after a run. Gfs has shown this for 3 days straight nowThis thing is crawling and playing with our emotions. I "think" it's going to track due east from here and not bomb out. Let's see if I'm right.

Let's keep this trend up and keep it in range. I also really hope the euro and both ens come to some agreement near this on this suite.
I wonder what the UKMET shows.Let's keep this trend up and keep it in range. I also really hope the euro and both ens come to some agreement near this on this suite.
GFS just being it's post-truncation self still. If we see the Euro follow the GFS and CMC H5 trends this is game on.Still wanting to drag it back into Mexico lol .. nope!
