Wintry 1/7/17-1/10/17 Winter Storm

A little slower with the energy off the coast of the pac nw through hr 78....its slowly coming on shore now...cold press looks better this run so far.

That high should slip off to the south and east...then that energy dives down

ya, its just now starting to get squeezed out....def. a bit slower so far...but I do like the cold push more.
 
How are y'all seeing that it's slower? The placements of highs, lows and energy are in about the same place as 18z. 0z GFS is running slightly colder than 18z.
