Fv3 a bit closer to land this run. Still ticking better. But not a large trend. We stay in the game atleast until 00z lol

retrograding a bit / shifted a bit West for the PV ... that "could" allow a turn up closer to the coast if there's some merit to the trends

The fact that the northern stream gets down to the gulf is fantastic. The fact the southern is so far south is not.

But would be close if that southern decides to slip northward into that northern energy.

This is nice to see in the upper levels: compared to the 18z, the 00z NAM had a stronger jet streak in a better orientation. The whole upper level trough is visibly more neutral. We need more adjustments like this.

Yeah agreed, but like you said there's more of a PV push on this run versus 18z so it goes to crap right after this.
