Not sure if anyone mentioned it but the Huntsville radar is down. That is why there is a gap. It's snowing where the gap is right now according to Fox 5.

Edit: Confirmed

Last several GFS runs and some high res NWP have jacked up the QPF and slowed down our wave more like the super amped ICON and RGEM showed a few days ago, which gives everyone more snow in NC but shifts the bullseye further west from the US-1 corridor to Greensboro. I won't complain either way still gives several inches to RDU but could allow areas towards Greensboro to get closer to 10" ish (give or take a few inches)

I smell what Webber is cooking.

Does

webber do you think SE VA could get into the higher amounts ??

Usual troll at American said the RAP doesn't show any snow for Raleigh

Even tho we made it to 43 today snow is coming down at a pretty good clip now. Sticking fairly quick on trampoline and my back porch is getting crunchy. 31 and dropping.

Would that increase of radar activity over northern LA and central and west central Miss be the impulse that could give us a little boost this evening?

Just seems slower. Most models are now showing the upper low closed off which will slow it down. May mean the heavier band now shifts west.

Hey Eric. What's up with the cutoff of precipitation that the RGEM is showing in Eastern NC? It's the only model showing it right now so I'm not really worried about it yet but it's unsettling to say the least.

Ran/sleet mix here now. It's coming. Should be snowing by 7 here. It is in Cherokee per live broadcast and it looked like a decent rate too. Looks like a nice band headed here.

I have steady snow but dandruff size flakes not sure if that is what you will see as well could be local effect I'm under... Just so you guys E of here know
