Hmmf, GFS says Atlanta doesn't even get in to the lower 30's and reaches nearly 60 on Saturday and Sunday. What cold?

It's only November, have the faith. I have faith this winter won't be a dumpster fire like last year.Hmmf, GFS says Atlanta doesn't even get in to the lower 30's and reaches nearly 60 on Saturday and Sunday. What cold?
i unironically think this is true and an actual forecasting toolThat's the real threat index. OPI = Overnight Page Index. How many pages of the thread were added over night. <2 = Nothing on the horizon. 3-5 = something promising is showing up. 6-10 = legit threat. 10+ = game on, 20% chance of snow. LOL.
100%Let’s take a poll. What are the chances we get to start a thread called major winter storm (insert date) this year?
Winter lexx is starting early100%
What are the chances we have to ban at least one person from that thread?
I'll set the line at 99%. Over or under?
It’s not gonna be me I know how to use this thread now.100%

my thinking tooDecember 25%
January 55%
February 70%
March 35%
Now things feel more like a normal thanksgiving.yikes. Pretty nasty retraction of the GEFS this run in the longer range turns it more into a central US trough View attachment 154957

@ShawnI really think this is the year of accountability. Can we create a special out on winter tag? Anyone with the tag wont be allowed to enter any storm threads and are relegated to here. If we aren't going to get snow it can atleast be entertaining
My bad i started thatJust love seeing political posts in the December thread
Wait where is this? Nashville avg is supposedly 4.9 and they rarely go a season without at least a few dustings. 2017 was my worst winter with only a couple of flurries here and there. I remember Nashville got a late season sloppy 1 inch surprise in March that year. It was a tick too far south for my area and it was the only year since 2006 that Nashville managed more snow then White House.
That's GSP airport most likely. I thought the 30 year average was 4.7 though. Either way there is a sharp cutoff if this area and always has been. Tigerville averages 5.9 where Lauren's only 30 miles away is more like Columbia average in the 2 inch range. Either way it's pathetic to go this long without a single flake. We really have a right to complain east of the Apps in these CAD areas.Wait where is this? I saw it too. Seemed like a lot of the images on the site weren't loading for a time late last evening. That's new
Leaving out Wednesday for just outside of Boone. 8 Bedroom cabin (Rented TU - SU) Hoping for snow Thanksgiving evening into the morning…. Me personally, rolling back to the triad Saturday.
Regardless, I’m so blessed that I’ll be with family.
Most places have already had a freeze. Except the Airport.I'm surprised that North and Central Georgia are not under a Freeze Warning for tonight.
