Pattern August '22

I find this hard to believe because I was at the Gaffney and Union county game last night and the game went for a grand total of 2 possessions before the bottom fell out and it looked liked a hurricane outside with how bad the wind was and how hard the rain was. And it went on like that for 2 hours and they cancelled the game not even 45 minutes after it started. There was definitely a dent put in the “drought” at least in your county last night.
Shetley lives in the Dearh Valley of Spartanburg! His annual total rainfall is 1.48 inches!
Currently 64

What a difference a week makes. Welp, it looks like a hot, dry September on the horizon. Have a bad feeling we roast in the furnace until a hurricane breaks the wave in mid October.

Hasn't that been the story for several years now?

You're not forecast to get any hotter than 84 from Sep 3 to 10 according to TWC.

94 and it's getting dry out there, not Shetley Sahara yet but grass is showing stress, fall garden is suffering and even a few Poplar trees turning (which they are always first and the least drought tolerate so not really a surprise but still)
