Meanwhile, Roxboro bottomed out in the low 20s. They always win.Looks like RDU had a low of 29 this morning.
Looks like GSO only made it down to 32. RDU 3 degrees colder than GSO isn’t something you see too often.

No happens a lot of the time April - November for monthly coldest temps . They have higher coldest avg lows than we do . Also dropping to low 20s in late March when things are growing is not a “ win”.Meanwhile, Roxboro bottomed out in the low 20s. They always win.

We’re still almost a month out from last year’s last freeze (April 21st). Average last freeze is around the end of March/beginning of April for most of us.No happens a lot of the time April - November for monthly coldest temps . Yes yes indeed but there is a huge difference from a freeze around 32 and a night in the low 20s . Also last year was the latest in 2 decades . Not exactly the norm. You are correct about the average yes .We’re still almost a month out from last year’s last freeze (April 21st). Average last freeze is around the end of March/beginning of April for most of us.
I think I have seen a bit of snow on 3 of my last 5 Spring Break Smokies trips so this would keep with tradition.
Cool crisp breeze and full sunshine. Not a drop of sweat on my body. True BeautyAnother near perfect day with beautiful spring wx:

You reset to January ? Everything dead again?23.5 it's frigid
Most of it probably will be after this morning. Usually a semi-late frost/freeze doesn't do much damage but 24 yesterday and 23.5 this morning, is a little more unusual so yeah probablyYou reset to January ? Everything dead again?
Glad you appreciated it . We are like 2 days away from the start of 6 months of heat and humidity .Most of it probably will be after this morning. Usually a semi-late frost/freeze doesn't do much damage but 24 yesterday and 23.5 this morning, is a little more unusual so yeah probably
Yeah I saw the temp map on the news this morning and was kind of surprised at the temp gradient. Were there some clouds down that way or the wind stay up?Only 33 this morningView attachment 116396

Don’t you just love it ? The clouds piss off at night and give you a cold night then return by day to keep your high low . What a crock of ----.Avoided a 4th morning of freezing temps but just barely, 33.6 this morning. Those clouds thinned out here and temp dropped from 40 at 4:30 to that 33.6 by 6:30, with some scattered frost around.
We've had a green horizon for a few days here but the rain provided relief. I've been doubling up Flonase and Zyrtec just to keep it half way manageable.Insane pollen this morning. My car was COATED.
Damn when did you drop that low ? Pretty intense for March .Max 86
Min 17.4
