Pattern March Thread

Only got down 33 here. Couldn't get the last degree. I'm sitting on top of a hill and I'm always a few degrees warmer on calm/clear nights. I think tonight all of us will drop below freezing.

33F, very very light breeze all night at times really was what saved me from a true damaging frost, but it was barely enough, as I can already see damage

FV3 sucks, it's been way off a few times this winter. It's like they're trying to bring back the old NAM
CMC and long range NAM, at great, right?? Today they are! ???☃️C85C36B1-01A2-4708-89C8-0631AAC60B54.png1D0AA0E4-DAE8-41C3-A77B-151BE9DC1B99.png

It's a whopping 94*F at DFW now. Definitely exceeded my expectations. ?

EDIT: 2 degrees shy of the record high, BTW.
I’ll never forget the time the North Pole was over Dallas and y’all were below 32 for 300 + hours and went subzero . Dallas is truly a weenies best climate . Don’t like the weather ? It’ll change fast !

2nd day of a near perfect spring weekend here and hoping to have time to go outside and enjoy it soon:

3 PM SAVANNAH ARPT SUNNY 71 24 17 NW18G29 29.96F

A perfect weekend completed Sunday with lounging IMBY while in the low 70s followed by a late evening walk and upper 50s. This kind of wx is never under appreciated. I’ll hopefully be out in it again tomorrow

Roxboro is already down to 30 as of 1am while RDU and GSO are still at 39. What else is new? ☃️

Willing to bet we get another frost/freeze threat around the first week of April with another western ridge, then we retrograde into a southeast ridge after with the pac ridge sliding towards the Aleutians, matches analogs

Statistically that should happen. Last year we had our last frost/freeze in late April.
