I know all eyes are on Ukraine, as they should be, but wonder what actions Finland will take in the future. They have 800+ miles of border with Russia and not in NATO.

And to think back around 2000ish, there was some crazy talk suggesting Russia could join NATO. I don't think that was a ever a serious possibility of that, but it does show how much any residual bad relations from the cold war had thawed by then. Also shows how much our relations with Russia have deteroriated since.

The Blinken/Lavrov meeting has been officially canceled, to no one’s surprise.

Too bad we didn't slip Ukraine a few dozen daisy cutters so after the first couple of Russian attacks the Ukraine could have dropped a shock and awe response.

The U.S. Air Force dropped several BLU-82s during the campaign to destroy Taliban and al-Qaeda bases in Afghanistan to attack and demoralize personnel and to destroy cave complexes.[9] American forces began using the bomb in November 2001[13] and again a month later during the Battle of Tora Bora.[14] On 15 July 2008, airmen from the Duke Field 711th Special Operations Squadron, 919th Special Operations Wing dropped the last operational BLU-82 at the Utah Test and Training Range

... are they even still available?

Guess not but what a surprise it would have been had they dropped one on a convoy moving into Ukraine
