Considering that Aiken still hasn't changed over, have a feeling that this will fail here.
Sad. Such a fantastically crappy week for me all around, maybe I'll quit moping and try to revenge trade a little bit next week in stocks, especially if what I feel happens does on Monday.
Should've known there was going to be issues when my temps were having a hard time budging earlier.

Yep radar has been showing Aiken changeover for an hour. But everytime I look we are back in green right below freezing line. Cold miserable rain ensues.
The HRRR is nothing but failure. It says that I end up with a half an inch while everyone else is getting 3-4 to my east.
We toss! In all seriousness, I wouldn’t give up yet. It’s a close call either way and a few mile shift, a regular forecasting error, will make all the difference.
Also, it doesn’t seem to be picking up well what’s happening out west. It doesn’t show much of anything for Greensboro when we have OBS coming out from there of sticking snow.

Been snowing for about 4 hours but only have less than half an inch with very fine flakes, some of the lowest rates I've ever seen but it's sticking on everything. Not expecting it to pick up until a little later and still expect a few inches, happy for everyone in NC, SC, and GA seeing more than expected!

Can anyone confirm if there's any ground truth concerning the band located over Augusta, GA? I just checked and they are right at 32 degrees.

Just got back in from having a look and I have sleet.
And I have probably had sleet for a while now. Started hearing a bit of a crackling noise like 30+ minutes ago and I have a dusting of sleet on the car.
It's a little louder now. Kinda interesting.
