Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

I can even notice how much of a factor sun angle plays at my place now. My apartment complex is unfortunately located on a south-facing hill and it is much harder for the snow to stick, especially on the asphalt, compared to right across the street when the hill slants northward. I remember in the February 2020 storm we has zero stickage on the asphalt here, but across from my place where the hill isn’t south-facing the roads were pretty slushy. There’s a reason it’s strongly preferred to have a ski hill on a north-facing hill, after all. Of course, it’s a bigger factor in late February than it is in mid-January, and when BL temps are cold it’s less of an issue.
 
The law of averages says that Central Georgia is due for an epic event, they roughly happen around every fifty years or so and here's to hoping that this upcoming storm trends into a 2/9/1973 or 2/26/1914! One of the solutions last night looked eerily similar to 1973 with the low crossing the FL Peninsula.

It's hard not to be sad when you are always left out and you see people posting more snow than you've seen in 5-10 years. I'm sure this next one finds a way to be screwed up too

There’s a ton of no storm thread posts in here just sayin … and you read my direct message . But it’s ok . Let’s not talk about it no more . I’m not brick so I won’t beat a dead horse here lol.
