44 here ene 6 dp 33…..you think we keep it under 50?43.3 with an ene breeze at high noon. Overcast with a forecast high of 50.
Someone who’s more knowledgeable than myself……what’s our confidence in 12k NAM and at this range?? This appears to show the N turn occurring further east if I’m reading correctly. Thx!12z 12k NAM looked great for N AL/GAView attachment 105975
I’m nervously frustrated. Only 6 mph ene thought at least here east of town…..43° in Alpharetta, very little wind as of yet.

I hope this is right. I’m quite jaded and my sled is very lonely. I’ve seen it happen plenty of times though.Yet, a Met from the other board just posted:

There are some mPing reports in NE Georgia of snow.Wonder how much of that is virga coming through north Georgia? Precip looks to be starting early … where have I heard that from before?
What’s crazy is the UKIE has the ULL going over the upstate and has been steadfast in that. Some short range models are hinting at that as well and with this thing moving due south right now it makes that ULL track a possibility. Those totals include ice as well so how much of that is snow idk.You see the shape of that Red Area?? Yeah that should tell ya something

41° and cloudy, winds out of the west about 5 mph in Dallas Georgia44/31 and drizzling off and on in Woodstock.
East of the mtns, think it makes sense that the winds will be significant though nothing crazy. Pressures / Heights are dropping at all levels as the wave bottoms out and then moves up into the CarolinasGrit when you see this post, SD. What are your thoughts on Rah wording 40mph gust in AFD? Surely the models are making them state this or do they feel that way using old school meteorology, calculations.
Out here in Paulding Dallas area. … Do we stand a better chance of the frozen precept starting earlier or, lasting longer if our high temperature stays lower than expected ?The original high for my location in Paulding was 50 but I'm setting at 41 with a 4-5 MPH E and overcast we only have about 4 more hours of peak warm up we shall see if we hit projected high and just how that CAD looks over ATL extending westward

Looks about right to me. Maybe someone else can elaborate on it.Was the finger supposed to be this far south?
Looks about within the margin of error....so, yes.Was the finger supposed to be this far south?
I have no doubt. 46-47 is my guess. Any shorter ride to 30 is welcome!44 here ene 6 dp 33…..you think we keep it under 50?
