Saw Boone,Foscoe at 7 inches,still coming down. No doubt peaks will hit 12 inch mark northern NC mtns.

A friend in Chapel Hill lost power this morning. Still holding on here, though. Just dry at the moment!

Down 16 degrees in the last hour.
Sounds like someone is microwaving a bag of popcorn outside …. Working to get some video up, we are well over 6”.

Not happy about that pivot point down near Sanford moving north of east instead of due east. Need it to stay south of our longitude to pull the snow into Wake.

Got around 3 inches here in Roanoke. Won’t end up with much more.

41 degrees as of now near the McCullers community just south of Raleigh. The rain gauge shows 2.3 inches and things are clouding back up after some patches of blue sky showed up while the dry slot was passing over. Trends don't look encouraging as far as seeing much in the way of significant winter precipitation as of now but I've got my fingers crossed.

Never supposed to have any significant winter precip but a good band of snow and sleet look likely

On my way to work, because of course we have 4" of snow, but the roads are fine.
We've had some northwest flow flurries for a while now in the northwest burbs. The wind has finally subsided some, but still very strong.
