Would this count as a snow squall if the heavy burst of snow + winds happens? So the HRRR has a sting jet with the deformation band, View attachment 101199

This is what I was afraid of….performance out west and a fast energy transfer east taking the moisture with it….errrrrrrHere you go View attachment 101197
If it was to happen I guess by definition yes, you can actually see some mesoscale banding under the cold core low as well View attachment 101204
It’s a low level jet that develops on the backside of a strengthening mid latitude cyclone, and can produce damaging winds, the last time there was a sting jet around here was with hurricane Michael, I think the hrrr is overdone on wind gusts thoWhat exactly does this mean?

3-4 hours of snow at any one location in Bama is about the most. 1-3 hours is most likely.Oh yes it will. rotating around the low, it's not just east to west....stop scrouging

Supported by absolutely nothing….lol3-4 hours of snow at any one location in Bama is about the most. 1-3 hours is most likely.
Doubt we get accumulation but definitely think Spartanburg and Cherokee counties can get a couple hours of backside snow. Most models have had that look or it’s very borderline. The Upstate SC boys should like the NAM lol

I'm not buying it until I see it but it just stalls over Central N GA with a heavy band for a couple hours.
