They'll turn over to rain at some point...unless they can get the sound to freeze. They are getting snow starting on Christmas for like 2-3 straight weeks lol

The more you block the more sane this place looksDamned if you do damned if you don’t at this place sheesh
Yes we do have a few trolls around this morning.Damned if you do damned if you don’t at this place sheesh
No kidding. Not sure I'd even worry about looking past when the pacific ridge starts taking a beating and the wave breaking self sustaining/building pattern stops. Anything past that process starting is going to be wildly chaotic as the models try to resolve the higher amp wave action across the conus and how the pacific ridge rebuilds. Doesn't mean we won't go right back into the same type thing but everyone wanted to see the pattern shake up and change, well there it is. I just hope the 12z euro lookslike the 0z run, I fully expect the means to still be warm/west trough/ser as they try to resolve the pacific.Damned if you do damned if you don’t at this place sheesh
Given my locale, I follow what you and Grit have to say with a stern eye. Not willing to punt yet. Im also not interested in March snow unless its the 93 variety, which everyone on this board would love to experience again. Mid Jan and Feb is still a ways out, Im going to give it a chance til then.No kidding. That moment when you try to be funny and sarcastic, but realize you made a good point.
Our deer are safe
I boarded the fail boat a few weeks ago and already made it to Cancun. I'll send it back to pick up the rest of ya...
This should get really interesting. Probably should start chasing mid-eighties for highs in January. Could we break some records? Maybe hit 90?PNA looks to stay negative, NAO could go either way, though leaning positive, and AO looks to go positive. It can't get any warmer then its forecast to be next week in mid meteorological winter, so really it can't get any worse right?

I've been on it all winter sir. I had found a little optimism for the 1st half of Jan but if that's going to come true we better see some consistent changes start showing up quick. The odds are really stacked against us in Feb if we lose January we're in trouble.I boarded the fail boat a few weeks ago and already made it to Cancun. I'll send it back to pick up the rest of ya...
That’s absolutely incredible and legitimate pool weatherEven better yet, check out Houston...these temps are warmer or as warm as a midsouth summer forecast.

Don’t forget those cold snaps ! Something Dallas did last year that Raleigh never has or will …. See 300 consecutive hours below freezing !Everything's bigger in Texas, even the winterhotwarm spells
Forget the boat, come take a dive into the water with me and swim ! Waters chilly !

Reminds me of 2015. Went from record cold February to record warm in December . Texas did the same thing this year . We may have discovered a new correlation. A record cold February = record warm December .Yeah pretty crazy when you think that also happened this year
