Definitely a lot more debris in the last couple minutes. That house in the background is built well. I haven’t seen any large pieces tear away from it.

I would tend to think an underground fiber, sat link wouldn’t get through the cloud tops? Not sure.

Grand Isle is getting worse case, they are not going to get the center and will have to endure the entire eastern eyewall.....basically what you see on that cam is what they will deal with for the next few hrs.....

Wish the wind Guage hadn't failed at 148mph because they are getting much stronger gusts now

Edit: camera is mounted 7ft up .. It's the most amazing camera I've seen so far and still as of this post, hanging tough!

NOAA Doppler radar imagery indicates that the eye of Ida made
landfall along the southeastern coast of Louisiana near Port
Fourchon around 1155 AM CDT (1655 UTC). Data from an Air Force
Reserve reconnaissance aircraft and Doppler radar data indicate that
Ida's maximum sustained winds at landfall were estimated to be 150
mph (240 km/h). The latest minimum central pressure estimated from
reconnaissance aircraft data is 930 mb (27.46 in).

The base of the pole is 7ft above sea level as well so that means at least 14-15 ft of surge ongoing in Grand Isle right now....
