Grand Isle police chief says anemometer broke at 147 mph. Buildings coming apart. They are in a bunker live on TWC just a few minutes ago.
Yeah I’ve been watching this feed for the last hour. The wind has definitely started to spike. You can see debris floating by and some blowing by in the wind.The footage on this live camera is insane

Just saw a wave splash up on the camera..The footage on this live camera is insane
If you look towards the palm tree to the left you can see the water rising steadily. It looks like it’s risen about 3-4 feet just in the last 15 minutes

Agree on the rise, was focused on the X beam under tree which is now almost underwater. That tree is resilient.
looks like they may be in a moat then actual eyewall soon.

I would have to think that this is a remote camera at this point.
If not, the guy that is there is crazy! It’s getting real there.
I just looked at it. It was definitely a person. I’m not sure they were floating. It looked like they were wading through the water…hopefully to get up some steps. Definitely praying for whoever that was.
