My alcoholic drink of choice is a mimosa.

I am not a fan of beer, and I'm only getting to where I'd maybe be willing to drink wine fairly recently. It is fairly strong for me, but I have had wine that tastes pretty good.

I recently got to taste test mead after a trip to Dahlonega. Thought that was interesting, but I think it's better in food. The chicken mead that I had tasted good, it was just dry.

3-5 and already had 1, earliest since 2009, with peak of season still to come....doesn't seem way off right now.

Aren't we pretty much in the peak now ? I always thought peak was late August to early October.

I doubt the overall wind pattern has changed since Grace hit Mexico so I would assume the new storm Caribbean/Gulf/BOC system also hits Mexico 80% chance with 20% Texas but that’s prob generous.

In all my years in Georgia I've never seen a September where it didnt drop below 60. I guess GA is a colder climate than NC.

Anyone else having problems with yellow jackets? Killed two huge nests a few weeks ago after bushhogging over them and getting lit up and killed another one a hour ago. They must really like this rainy summer.

Yea they are loving the wet conditions this summer. All the bugs are bad this year. Hopefully we can get a deep freeze this winter longer then 1-2 days to kill them all off.
