No matter how far west she goes, seems to always come back to Fl.
 
Phil I'm coming over to watch this thing with you. It's actually stronger this run, I guess since it was over the water a bit longer than previous run.
 
If Irma really wraps in this much dry air post landfall the severe threat will be limited to the central and eastern carolinas

As i mentioned to Charlie earlier, this could take the west coast Fl path and keep her strength abit longer
 
I'm just trying to figure out if that last run of the GFS were to verify..if we are still on the "good side"...I kid, I kid.
 
hopefully the entire circulation will sit over cuba for a bit and weaken it dramatically for FL.
 
If Cuba disrupts the inner core of Irma and she comes ashore as anything less than a cat 3, I'm afraid the backlash of those who evacuated will be horrific. Especially those who found themselves stranded out of gas far from home. This is just a lose lose situation. The forecasters are doing their best as well as government officials trying to keep people safe. You know how it goes. If this doesn't come ashore as strong as forecasted then the next hurricane won't be taken seriously.
 
You cant make this up. In FL, people are filling their sand bags with sands from the dunes (illegal) and cutting trees/limbs down and leaving the debris around (to turn into projectiles). Really can't fix stupid.
