The CAM consistency in showing some potential down near Ft Stockton today is hilarious. Gonna have to bank on a fluky landspout tor developing from local stretching off the Davis Mtns

There might be enough sfc convergence there but the layer around and above H7 might crap it out

If this was the euro in July we’d be satisfied

1 or 2 perhaps ,again you really are in serious denial about the climate you live in.
It's a 6 hour map so if you get an line or solid concentration it's going to show large solid areas
No denial here .. just lookin at the data .. Gfs had its last 8 days of 70s or 80s .. quite comfortable and delightful .. rain mixed in too NO MORE DROUGHT .. what’s not to love

We looking at the same gfs? I saw mostly 80s , some 90s, and maybe 3 70s

This euro run is almost to good to be true lol there’s storms everyday after Wednesday on it
84F which I believe ties my high so far in ‘21 I’d have to check tho may have hit 85F once
So those mid upper 90s and even 100s being advertised last week or so have been reduced to just low 90s now .. this heat ain’t even hot .. next
Low 90s is hot sir, we knew models were overdoing things
We are finding ways to not hot right now. The clouds saved today but I'm not sure we will have as many tomorrow so 92-94 might be doable

85F hottest of the day since high clouds have backed off a bit

Yep we touched 85F here but already down to 80F
88.6 here I'd go 93-95 here tomorrow

Okay it’s warmer than average .. but they was painting us in solid 100s for a period ... at least now we know how models are going to handle heat for us this year .. probably can knock off several degrees to get the final product ... also these temps seem way too high especially if we have the amount of showers and thunderstorms developing next week as models have been showing .. guess we will see ..
98 at RDU and 102 at FAY since I'm in the middle for mby I'd say 100
This has been a constant issue with the models for 2 or 3 years now to get 2m wayyyy too hot in the D5+ then slowly trickle down. Euro has 850s around 20-21c for us that's hot but if I'm not mistaken most of the recent 100+ days at rdu had 850s more into the mid 20s
Regardless the weenie roast has begun and will only get worse
